Overview
Description
• Monitor transactions and user activities on and off the platform to detect suspicious behaviour
and potential fraud.
• Conduct on-chain analysis to trace cryptocurrency flows and identify fraudulent or high-risk patterns.
• Review customer transactions for risks such as account takeover, social engineering, friendly, fraud, and identity theft.
• Investigate chargebacks and fraud claims, analyse loss trends, and recommend preventive measures.
• Analyse trading and behavioural patterns, including blockchain data, to strengthen fraud detection strategies.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on fraudulent activities, risk exposure, and preventive actions to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve investigative processes and minimize company risk.
• Contact customers via phone or email to verify transactions, account details, and suspicious activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, authorizations, and reconciliations.
• Resolve client payment-related queries and discrepancies efficiently.
• Monitor payment alerts from service providers, take necessary action, and escalate risks or irregularities immediately.
• Support major or complex fraud investigations in coordination with Customer Support, Back Office, and Compliance teams.
• Keep updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to enhance fraud prevention systems and perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or Business studies
• Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
• Understanding of Anti-money laundering (AML), fraud, and risk management concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly in Microsoft Excel
• Aptitude to quickly learn new (proprietary) systems and procedures
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
